Welcome to Evonuk Scientific Editing!
I have been editing scientific papers for native and non-native English speakers for over fifteen years, and I still find it incredibly rewarding to help my fellow scientists clearly and concisely communicate their scientific ideas.
As a past reviewer of paper submissions, and consumer of scientific literature, I know how important it is for the written English of a submitted manuscript to be clear and precise. English has a multitude of grammatical rules and norms that can result in articles from non-native English speakers that are difficult to read and understand. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a paper with good scientific results be rejected due to English errors.
Since earning my PhD, I have worked as a research scientist in various institutions in the United States and in Europe, including the University of California in Santa Cruz, ETH Zurich in Switzerland, the University of Bayreuth in Germany, and the University of Toulouse in France. I have been fortunate to have been exposed to a large number of disciplines during this time.
While I specialize in planetary science, fluid dynamics, computational sciences, and geophysics, I have also had the opportunity to edit documents in fields such as engineering, physics, paleontology, artificial intelligence, high-pressure material physics, remote sending, urban planning, and seismology.
